Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has said that cinemas and theatres in the state will be allowed to open after October 22 due to the relaxation of COVID-19 criteria. Several major theatre officials, exhibitors, and Director-Producer Rohit Shetty were present at the conference in Mumbai to discuss the decision
Later, Rohit Shetty posted a photo of Thackeray on Twitter with the caption, “Thanks to our Honourable Chief Minister, Shri Uddhav Thackeray, theatres in Maharashtra to reopen from 22nd October.
And FINALLY!!! we can say, This DIWALI… AA RAHI HAI POLICE…”
The release date for Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated cop drama was originally set for March 24th, 2020. Because of the pandemic, the makers chose to release it in January or March of 2021. The film was once again rescheduled with the arrival of the second wave, and now we can officially state that it will be released in October. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif play major parts in the film, which is part of the ‘Singham’ franchise.
