Janhvi Kapoor, preparing for her upcoming film Mr And Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao, made an appearance at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Friday to catch the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Sporting a blue top with ‘Mahi’ printed on it, she not only showed her support for the Mumbai Indians but also subtly promoted her upcoming movie.

In a video shared online, Kapoor’s fervour for the game was evident as she cheered and clapped for the Mumbai Indians throughout the match. Her attire, with the phrase “Cricket is life Aur Life is Cricket” written on the back, caught attention as she actively engaged in the match’s spirit.
Before the game, she shared her excitement on Instagram, posting, “Mahi’s day out… Mr. Mahi missed you there @rajkummar_rao.”
The star-studded event was graced by the presence of Suhana Khan, AbRam, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Chunky Panday, Sanjay Kapoor, and others, amplifying the excitement at the stadium.
According to reports, the trailer for Mr And Mrs Mahi is scheduled for release in the second week of May, with the exact date soon to be confirmed. This will initiate a three-week promotional campaign, unveiling songs leading up to the film’s premiere.
Additionally, with Rajkummar Rao starring in another May release titled Srikanth, expectations are high as the trailer for Mr And Mrs Mahi is expected to accompany its launch, heightening the anticipation for both films.
About Mr And Mrs Mahi
Sharan Sharma, who directed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, helms Mr and Mrs Mahi, the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao after their success in Roohi. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
While Janhvi and Sharan promoted Mr & Mrs Mahi on Friday, Rajkummar was busy promoting his upcoming film Srikanth in Jaipur. In this movie, he portrays the inspiring story of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist who pursued his dreams despite visual impairment. Srikanth is set to hit cinemas on May 10.
Janhvi Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao’s Upcoming Projects
In addition to her ongoing projects, Janhvi is also part of the pan-Indian film Devara: Part 1, alongside Saif Ali Khan and NTR Jr. After her Telugu debut in Devara, she is set to make her Tamil debut opposite Suriya.
Additionally, she will appear in the action thriller Ulajh. Following the two theatrical releases this month, Rajkummar will feature in Stree 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
