Janhvi Kapoor is putting all her efforts to promote her upcoming film Mr & Mrs Mahi with every public appearance. She has done it again during the Mumbai Lok Sabha elections today.
As Mumbai gears up for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, citizens are flocking to polling stations to exercise their democratic rights.
Among them are several celebrities who turned up early in the morning to cast their votes and encourage others to do the same. Notable personalities including Akshay Kumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Kunal Kohli, and Ashutosh Gowarikar were among the early birds at the voting booths.

Janhvi Kapoor, known for her fashion-forward style, made a statement with her voting day attire. She donned an extravagant pink anarkali suit paired with elegant earrings and subtle nude makeup.
However, it wasn’t just a fashion statement for Janhvi – her outfit subtly promoted her upcoming movie, Mr & Mrs Mahi.
The border of her dupatta featured lyrics from the movie’s song “Dekhha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar”, which has already gained popularity since its recent release.
This line is a snippet from the iconic song “Shava Shava” from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, cleverly repurposed by the makers of Mr & Mrs Mahi.

The trailer of Mr & Mrs Mahi hit the screens a few days ago, offering a glimpse into the film’s storyline. While cricket plays a significant role in the movie, it also delves into themes of love and human drama.
Janhvi’s commitment to the movie’s theme was evident even before voting day, as she previously sported attire featuring small cricket balls, aligning with the film’s cricket-centric narrative.
Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his work on Gunjan Saxena in 2020, Mr and Mrs Mahi promises to be an engaging cinematic experience.
