Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his action thriller Jawan, released the much-awaited trailer today that has taken internet by storm.
The trailer showcases the action-packed and emotional journey of the father-son duo, who are pitted against each other by fate and circumstances. The trailer also includes a powerful dialogue that has gone viral, with fans speculating that it may be a dig at former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede, who was involved in a drugs case with Khan’s son Aryan.

The dialogue that has caught everyone’s attention is when Khan says with a husky menacing voice, “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar.” This roughly translates to “Before you touch my son, talk to me first.” Watch the trailer here-
Fans have interpreted this as a warning to Wankhede, who arrested Aryan Khan in October 2022 for his alleged involvement in a drugs case on board a cruise ship. However, Aryan was later given a clean chit and Wankhede is now facing charges of corruption for demanding a Rs 25 crore bribe from the actor in order not to frame his son in the case.

Some fans and social media users have speculated that this dialogue is Shah Rukh’s indirect dig at Wankhede, who was involved in the drugs-on-cruise case that led to the arrest of Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan in October 2021. Aryan was later granted bail by the Bombay High Court after spending nearly a month in jail. Wankhede was also accused of demanding Rs 25 crore as a bribe for not framing Aryan in the case and was booked by the CBI.

Jawan Set To Release On Big Screens In A Week
Jawan, directed by Atlee, also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The film has a special cameo by Deepika Padukone. Other actors such as Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi play important roles. The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 7.
