Jersey is a story of a talented yet failed cricketer, who is struggling to make a comeback. Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the lead in the film.
The Telugu version of the film starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath released earlier this year. The film was directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri.
After a long wait due to pandemic, the makers are finally resuming shoot in October. It will be a 15 days schedule which will be shot in Dehradun and Chandigarh. No cricket scenes will be shot in this schedule but the dramatic scenes between Shahid and Mrunal will be completed.
The Hindi version of Jersey will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri.
