Alia Bhatt is making headlines with her transition into Hollywood after her debut in Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot.
Recently, during an episode of What Women Want hosted by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia opened up about her future in the international film scene.
Alia Bhatt On Her Hollywood Plans After Heart Of Stone
She shared that while she’s keen on exploring more Hollywood opportunities, it’s not as straightforward as it once was.
Reflecting on her experiences, Alia stated, “Now, it’s harder to just pack up and leave for three to four months.”
This indicates the challenges she faces as her priorities shift, especially since becoming a mother. Her commitment to her family now plays a significant role in her career decisions.
Alia Bhatt Would Consider Next Hollywood Project When She Feels Right
Kareena, in a light-hearted moment, suggested that Ranbir Kapoor, Alia’s husband, would happily take care of their daughter Raha while she focuses on her career. “He’s obsessed,” she joked.
Alia laughed but made it clear that her choices are not solely based on her ability to leave home. For her, the timing, storyline, and personal enthusiasm for the project are critical factors.
She wants to ensure that any project she undertakes aligns with her personal and professional values.
Alia’s Hollywood journey began with the offer for Heart of Stone. At that time, she felt the timing was right. It was a chance to step into uncharted waters, much like her experience with RRR.
She emphasised that her pursuit of Hollywood isn’t about the need to prove herself but about embracing challenges that promote personal growth.
Balancing motherhood and her film career is no small feat. Alia acknowledges that leaving for extended periods isn’t as simple as it used to be.
She expressed, “I can’t just move bags and baggage for longer periods anymore,” highlighting her commitment to her family.
Previously, Ranbir Kapoor had also shared his own experiences of fatherhood in a recent chat with Instant Bollywood. He referred to his daughter Raha as his “home production” and described the joy of fatherhood, saying, “It’s just the best feeling in the world.”
Alia’s Work Front
Professionally, Alia isn’t slowing down. Her film Jigra was released in theatres yesterday. She’s currently working on Alpha, a spy thriller featuring Sharvari Wagh.
Additionally, fans are eagerly anticipating her role in Love & War, directed by the esteemed Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she’ll share the screen with both Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
