Junaid Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, is set to make debut with YRF’s ‘Maharaja’. He has reportedly already started working on his next film project. The untitled film is said to be a love story and will be directed by Sunil Pandey. The leading lady of the film is none other than the talented Sai Pallavi. The film is being produced by Aamir Khan under Aamir Khan Productions.
A source close to the team informed Bollywood Hungama that, “The preparation of Junaid’s untitled next has started. Sai Pallavi apparently will be the leading lady in the film. This will be Junaid’s next project, after his YRF debut film. A Sunil Pandey directorial, the film is touted to be a love story.”

The film is still in its early stages, but sources close to the production team have revealed that it will be a romantic drama. The story is expected to revolve around the relationship between the two lead characters, played by Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
The Film Is Said To Be Remake Of Thai Drama, One Day
Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan film is the remake of a Thai film called One Day. Aamir Khan’s fascination with the 2016 Thai romantic drama led to the acquisition of the official rights for the Indian remake last year. Sunil Pandey, a longstanding associate of Aamir Khan and also the director of this venture, has adeptly transformed the essence of the Thai film to align with the Indian context. The central character in this adaptation will be brought to life by Junaid Khan. Although the search for the female lead opposite Junaid is still in progress, no definitive choice has been finalized. According to a reliable insider, Junaid will be portraying the role of a reserved 30-year-old IT officer in the film.

Junaid Khan is the son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta. He is making his acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Maharaja’. Junaid Khan has always had a keen interest in theatre and has attended a drama school in LA, where he was mentored for two years. He has also done a few plays in Mumbai before making his Bollywood debut. Junaid has completed a course of Navarasa Sadhana online taught by Venu G, India’s most reputed abhinaya guru, who has trained several actors and dancers conducting workshops at Natanakairali, National School of Drama (Delhi) and Intercultural Theatre Institute (Singapore).

Sunil Pandey is a director who has long been associated with Aamir Khan and has assisted on films such as Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par, Delhi Belly, and Laal Singh Chaddha. He has come on board to direct a yet-untitled movie produced under Aamir Khan Productions, which will be a slice-of-life love story with a supernatural touch. The film will mark Sunil Pandey’s second directorial project after Pritam Pyaare, which is also produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
Sai Pallavi, on the other hand, is a well-known actress in South Indian cinema. She has appeared in several successful films like ‘Premam’, and ‘NGK’.

Meanwhile Aamir Khan, one of Bollywood’s most revered actors, may soon be stepping into the shoes of the eminent public prosecutor, Ujjwal Nikam, for an upcoming biopic. This revelation, long-awaited by fans, has finally been confirmed by acclaimed cinematographer-director Avinash Arun, known for his award-winning Marathi film ‘Killa’.
Talking to another publication, Avinash Arun disclosed, “Yes, we are in talks.” However, this exciting news comes with a twist as Aamir Khan is reportedly grappling with doubts about his suitability for the role and is contemplating taking on a different role in the project – that of the producer. Arun, the writer-director behind the biopic endeavour, is adamant that he will only helm the project if Aamir Khan not only produces it but also essays the pivotal role of Ujjwal Nikam.
