The popular song Jaati Hoon Main from the 1995 film Karan Arjun, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, continues to be an iconic hit. Interestingly, Kajol recently revealed that she had no prior knowledge about the concept of the song during its creation. However, she acknowledged her close friend and long-time collaborator, Shah Rukh Khan, for making her feel comfortable and helping her through the process. Rajesh Roshan composed the song, while Chinni Prakash choreographed it. In an interview with The Hindu, Kajol was asked about the making of the song, which has been praised for its tasteful depiction of sensuality.
Kajol admitted that she lacked a clear understanding of the song’s design and simply followed instructions. She acknowledged Shah Rukh’s role in making her feel at ease while performing the song. According to her, the superstars possess an intuitive understanding of what women are comfortable or uncomfortable doing.
I was completely unaware of the purpose behind the actions in the song. I was given instructions before the shot about what needed to be done, and I simply followed them. Although it was challenging, I managed to accomplish it. However, I must emphasize that Shah Rukh remains one of the most empathetic co-stars I’ve worked with. He possesses a deep understanding of a woman’s discomfort and boundaries, and he makes every effort to ensure her utmost comfort in performing those tasks.

Kajol’s Upcoming Projects
