Instead of being positioned as Sumathi, also known as SUM-80, the role played by Deepika Padukone in the first film, Bhatt is now being linked to a different key character. The same update places Sai Pallavi in the conversation for Deepika Padukone’s role, giving the sequel a notable casting pivot as it moves into its next phase.
