After its glorious run in theatres, the sci-fi epic Kalki 2989 AD is set to make waves on streaming platforms. Produced by Priyanka Dutt, C. Aswani Dutt, and Swapna Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, and directed by Nag Ashwin, the film will premiere on Prime Video and Netflix on August 22, 2024.
Prime Video To Stream Kalki 2898 AD In 4 Languages
On Prime Video, the film will be available to its members in India and over 240 countries in its original Telugu, along with dubs in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, and English subtitles.
The streaming giant took to Instagram to share the update and wrote, “The dawn of a new ERA awaits you 🌅 And this is your gateway into the GRAND world of Kalki⛩️🔥 #Kalki2898ADOnPrime🔥 Aug 22.”
Meanwhile, the Hindi version will stream globally on Netflix from the same date.
Netflix also informed the viewers and wrote, “Iss yug ka EPIC blockbuster aa raha hai Netflix par, Hindi mein 🔥🔥 Watch #Kalki2898AD Hindi arriving on 22nd August on Netflix.”
Kalki 2989 AD features a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The film, set in a post-apocalyptic future, has impressed audiences with its depiction of a dystopian world and strong performances.

Prabhas, who plays the bounty hunter Bhairava, expressed his excitement about the global streaming release. “Working on Kalki 2989 AD with a visionary director like Nag Ashwin and an exceptional cast has been truly exhilarating,” he said.
