Karan Johar has finally revealed the cast and title of his upcoming romantic comedy, which will be directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film, titled Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, will feature Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor pair up for the second time
The film marks the second collaboration between Varun and Janhvi, who have worked earlier in Bawaal. Varun has previously worked with Shashank Khaitan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which were both produced by Karan Johar. Janhvi worked with Shashank Khaitan in her debut film, Dhadak, which was also produced by Karan Johar.
The film also marks 9th collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Dharma Productions and 4th collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and the production house.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Announcement Video
The makers have released a quirky announcement video which promises film to be a love story packed with loads of entertainment. The film is slated to release in cinema on 18th April, 2025.

Varun Dhawan And Janhvi’s upcoming projects
Varun Dhawan is currently busy promoting his upcoming project Baby John directed by Kalees and produced by Murad Khetani and Atlee. Before moving on to Shashank Khaitan’s film, Varun will complete shooting for his father David Dhawan’s next comedy, which is presently in the pre-production stage. The father-son duo is expected to roll from March / April 2024 and are on the verge of casting two actresses.
Janhvi Kapoor on the other hand is making a debut in South with Jr.NTR in Devara. She’s also signed up a film with Ram Charan and Suriya.
