Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of this year. Helmed by Karan Johar, it marks the 25th anniversary of him as a director in the industry. It is also seen as a comeback of the Kjo-style romantic film which was missing from our cinema. Karan’s last directorial venture was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which was released back in 2016.
Ahead of the release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has recovered 90% of its budget. The film is made on a production budget of 160 crore and a further 18 crore was spent on print & publicity. This takes the total Cost of Production (CoP) of the film to a staggering 178 crore. It has received 80 crores for its digital rights from Amazon Prime Video and 50 crores for its satellite rights by Colors channel.
Another 30 crores has come from the sale of its music rights to Saregama. In total, the recovery cost stands at 160 crore so far. This means that Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is in safe hands, commercially. So the makers can relax and hope for the audiences to like the film too when it hits the theatres next week.

Dhindhora Baje Re Song To Release Tomorrow
So far, the makers have released three songs that have been well-received. They are Tum Kya Mile, What Jhumka, and Ve Kamleya. Tomorrow, the team will release another song titled Dhindhora Baje Re. The song has been picturised on Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh on a beautiful and massive set. It is themed around a Durga puja and bright red colors have been used extensively in the song. Both Ranveer and Alia have headed to Kolkata to launch the song.
