Kartik Aaryan is fully steam ahead this year, balancing big projects, and the biggest of them all is the first-time collaboration with legendary filmmaker Anurag Basu. The film, which also serves as the Hindi debut for Tollywood star Sreeleela, is being described as an intensely emotional musical.
Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu’s musical love story, featuring Sreeleela as the female lead, is likely to be delayed from its scheduled Diwali 2025 release. According to reports, the film’s next schedule may not start until August, making an October release impossible.
We have also learnt that the filmmaker has completed. Only 40 per cent of the film’s shoot since it began in March. Given the current commitments of both Kartik and Anurag, a Valentine’s Day 2026 release is also unlikely, as the actor’s film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, with Ananya Panday, which is being helmed by Sameer Vidwans, is already slated to arrive in cinemas on February 13, next year. The makers are likely to look for a new release date in 2026.
Kartik Aaryan’s Full Calendar
In the meantime, Kartik Aaryan has a full work calendar. In only a couple of weeks, he has begun shooting ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ with Ananya Panday, and he will shoot the highly anticipated Nagzilla in September. There are multiple other big projects in active negotiation by Kartik, but details are scarce.
