Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria have been making headlines after they were spotted together on a dinner date in Mumbai. The duo, are reported to be seen in the upcoming film Aashiqui 3, and were seen hugging and kissing each other as they left the restaurant. This sparked rumours that they are dating and have found love in each other.

According to latest media reports, the leading lady of the film has been confirmed to be Tara Sutaria. If these reports are to be believed then this would be the first time that Kartik and Tara would be paired up with each other.
Kartik Aaryan who has starred in several successful romantic films such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Luka Chuppi and Tara Sutaria who made her Bollywood debut with the film Student of the Year 2 and also starred in other films such as Marjaavaan and Tadap would make for a fresh pair.

On Saturday night, the paparazzi captured Tara and Kartik leaving the same hotel but separately. Tara was seen wearing a black tube top along with an animal printed skirt. On the other hand, Kartik was seen wearing a crisp white shirt and a pair of black pants. In a video gone viral, Tara was seen making for a run from a luxury hotel to her car, avoiding the cameras as she left her dinner date.
Kartik and Tara dating rumours are untrue
However, a reliable source has revealed to Times Now that Kartik and Tara are not a couple, at least not yet. The source said that Tara has been finalised for Aashiqui 3, but she hasn’t signed the contract yet. The dinner date was just a casual meeting to get to know each other better and discuss the film. The source added that there is nothing wrong in hugging and kissing as a friendly gesture and that it is very common in Bollywood.
So, fans of Kartik and Tara will have to wait for some more time to see if their reel Aashiqui turns into real Aashiqui or not. The two actors have not commented on their relationship status yet. Aashiqui 3 is expected to go on floors in January 2024 and will be directed by Anurag Basu. The film is the third instalment of the popular romantic franchise that started with Aashiqui in 1990 and was followed by Aashiqui 2 in 2013.
