In a recent chat with Neha Dhupia on her podcast No Filter Neha, Kartik Aaryan shared some honest stories from his acting journey. Currently working hard on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik opened up about the tough times he faced trying to make it in Bollywood.
He admitted that audition rejections used to hit him hard. “I used to cry a lot. I felt really bad when I got rejected in so many auditions,” Kartik shared in a preview of the podcast. His honesty showed that even successful actors have faced setbacks.
Remembering his early days, Kartik talked about doing ads where he didn’t have much to do. “I’ve done those ads where I just held a placard and stood in front of the camera,” he revealed, highlighting the starting point of his career.

Adding a fun twist, Kartik didn’t hesitate to answer quick questions. When asked who he’d give the ‘PR ka Pyaara Award’ to, he surprised everyone by naming Ranbir Kapoor. This playful comment got people talking.
Kartik Aaryan’s Work Front
On the work front, Kartik’s schedule is packed. After his last romantic movie Satyaprem Ki Katha, he’s now preparing for Chandu Champion. This film, directed by Kabir Khan, tells the inspiring story of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. It’s set to hit screens on June 14, 2024, after Kartik put in a lot of effort to prepare for the role.
At the same time, Kartik is also busy filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a comedy-horror directed by Anees Bazmee. Co-starring Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan, this movie promises laughs and scares and is set to release during Diwali 2024.
And that’s not all. Kartik is gearing up for a big-budget action movie directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. With a massive budget of Rs 150 crore, this film is scheduled for a 2025 release and will take Kartik to exotic locations like Spain and Greece.
