Kartik Aaryan is carving out a remarkable niche among his contemporaries in Bollywood. After the trailer for Kabir Khan’s sports biopic Chandu Champion received an overwhelming response, the film is set to release on June 14.
This marks the beginning of an exciting series of high-profile films for Kartik. He will next captivate audiences with Anees Bazmee’s much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on Diwali 2024. Additionally, he has two more projects slated for release in 2025.
Kartik Aaryan In Talks With Junglee Pictures For A Rom-Com Titled Jasmine?
According to Peeping Moon, Kartik is reportedly in advanced talks with Junglee Pictures for a romantic comedy titled Jasmine.
Although he hasn’t signed the contract yet, he’s given his nod, and negotiations are progressing swiftly. If finalised, this project will be Kartik’s first collaboration with Junglee Pictures, known for hit films like Talvar, Raazi, Badhaai Ho, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Doctor G.

Jasmine will be directed by Randeep Jha, who is acclaimed for his work on Netflix’s Trial by Fire and Kohrra. This romantic comedy represents a refreshing departure from Jha’s usual thriller genre.
Set in a quaint town, Jasmine will be Jha’s first foray into lighter storytelling following a series of intense projects, including the crime drama Halahal.
As the script nears completion, the filmmakers are in discussions to cast a young actress opposite Kartik, although no final decision has been made.
Here’s When The Makers Are Expected To Begin Filming
The shooting for Jasmine is scheduled to begin around September 2024, depending on Kartik’s availability. Currently, he is busy filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Once he wraps up this project by the end of June, he will commence work on Anurag Basu’s next film with Triptii Dimri. This project, produced by Bhushan Kumar, has undergone significant changes after their original plan for Aashiqui 3 fell through due to IP rights issues.
Kartik has also committed to Vishal Bhardwaj’s gritty thriller, set to start production at the end of the year. Initially planned with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone, the film now stars Kartik in the role of Hussain Ustara, a fearless don who stood against underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim.
Kartik has also signed on for an action project directed by Sandeep Modi, known for The Night Manager, under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. However, the production timeline remains unclear, with rumours suggesting a possible delay.
