Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is known for his versatile roles and impressive performances. But his latest feat has left everyone in awe. The actor has shot an 8-minute long single shot war sequence for his upcoming film Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan.
The scene, which is reportedly from a 1965 war in the story, was filmed at the picturesque Aru Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, at an altitude of 9000 feet above sea level. The team had built a massive army camp set at the location, and rehearsed for five days with Kartik Aaryan, Vijay Raaz and Bhuvan Arora to perfect every detail.

Kartik Aaryan shared a glimpse of the scene on his Instagram account, where he can be seen holding a gun and screaming on the battlefield. He captioned the post, “This 8-minute-long single-shot war scene turned out to be the most challenging, spectacular, and undoubtedly the most memorable shot of my acting career. Thank you, @kabirkhankk, sir, for giving me a memory to cherish for a lifetime.”
The post received a lot of love and praise from his fans and fellow celebrities, who commented with heart and fire emojis. Some of them also called him the next superstar of Bollywood.
Chandu Champion is a sports drama that revolves around the life of Chandu, a talented cricketer who joins the army and becomes a hero. The film is slated to release on June 14, 2024. This is Kartik Aaryan’s first collaboration with Kabir Khan, who is known for his blockbuster films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger.
Apart from Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan has also signed two other big projects: Captain India, directed by Hansal Mehta, where he plays a pilot who saves hundreds of lives during a hijack; and Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu, where he romances a newcomer in a musical love story.
