Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is already creating a lot of buzz. But now, there’s an exciting update that has fans even more excited.
As per the reports, the film is expected to feature surprise cameos from the cast of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
YJHD Cast To Make A Cameo Appearance In Kartik’s Rom-Com With KJo?
Reports say that Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin are all in talks to return in special roles for Aaryan’s film.
A source told Mid-Day, “Since this film is a rom-com, and is along the lines of YJHD, this move seems like a natural progression. They are contemplating roping in the original stars for special appearances. Even if all of them aren’t available, they will try to get two of them to be part of it. These cameos will be a delightful nod to the beloved film.”
The source added, “Apart from the fact that the actors’ dates must match, their introduction into the film needs to be seamless, not forced. That will be addressed during the writing process.”
While nothing has been officially confirmed, the news has already got fans excited.
Kartik Recently Announced The Project With A Teaser Video
Kartik Aaryan recently teased the movie’s announcement with a promo video on Instagram.
In the video, Kartik shared Karan Johar’s excited message about the film’s release: “Par shubh mahurat ka samay nikla ja raha hai Ray… Rumi ka besabri se intezar hai…” Kartik responded with a playful, “Itna easily thodi mooh dikhayi ho jayegi.”
This collaboration marks the end of the much-publicised fallout between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan. In 2021, Kartik was dropped from Johar’s Dostana 2 just before production began, leading to rumours of a professional rift.
However, the two reconciled earlier this year, and now they’re ready to work together again. The release of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera is a significant milestone in their renewed partnership.
