Kartik Aaryan is one of the most commercially successful actors in Bollywood these days. Starting out with Pyaar Ka Punchnama films, he has slowly become one of the most bankable names in the industry. Some of his recent films like the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and the romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha have performed extremely well at the box office.
Kartik is now playing the lead role in Kabir Khan‘s upcoming biographical drama film Chandu Champion. The team recently finished shooting in the United Kingdom. Post the shoot completion, the actor and director clicked selfies with some of the film’s crew members. Check out the pictures below:
Shoot Details Of Chandu Champion
Chandu Champion’s shoot kickstarted on 12th July in London. A prolonged shoot of the film took place at London Aquatic Center for a swimming sequence. Also, the film has been shot at Brunel University, Kew Garden, and other places throughout the London schedule. The shoot was also joined by the Farzi Fame Bhuvan Arora who is going to play an important role in the film. The 15-20 days London schedule has been wrapped for the film now.
Last week, we reported that the team of Chandu Champion had shot for ten days at London’s Brunel University. The team reached the UK in the second week of July and completed its schedule.
About Chandu Champion
Chandu Champion is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The film is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, who is an army veteran and an accomplished athlete. Petkar is a Paralympic gold medalist who won an individual gold medal in the 1972 Summer Paralympics and also set a world record in the 50 m freestyle swimming event.
Kabir Khan and his team will be bringing his life to celluloid where Kartik is playing the lead role. It also stars Kiara Advani, Gajraj Rao, and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. The film also has a connection to the late Sushant Singh Rajput as he had first thought of making a film on the athlete. Around that time, he approached many producers but no one was willing to invest in his idea. In 2020, the actor sadly passed away all of a sudden.
