The buzz around Yash’s upcoming film Toxic is growing stronger as new details emerge. Initially reported to start filming in mid-August, it’s now confirmed that the cameras will roll from August 8.
Fans of the KGF star are eagerly awaiting this project and with good reason—Toxic promises to be a unique blend of high-octane action and compelling storytelling.
Yash’s Toxic To Be Shot In Bangalore & Mumbai
The makers of Toxic have been meticulously preparing for the shoot. Yash and his crew have put in significant effort, crafting a detailed storyboard and utilising advanced Stuntvis technology to choreograph complex action sequences.
The primary shooting location will be Bengaluru, where massive sets have been built. Additionally, some key scenes will be filmed in Mumbai, adding a diverse backdrop to the film.
KGF 2 Actor Recently Visited Manjunatheshwara Swamy Temple With His Family
On Tuesday (Aug 6), Yash, along with his wife Radhika Pandit and their family, visited the Manjunatheshwara Swamy Temple in Dharmasthala. They were there to seek blessings for the upcoming project, joined by producer Venkat Narayan Konanki. This spiritual gesture marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the film’s cast and crew.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Yash in the lead role and boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Joining him are Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, and Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko. There’s also speculation that Nawazuddin Siddiqui might be part of the cast, though an official confirmation is still pending.
As the major shooting schedule kicks off this week, these actors are expected to arrive in Bengaluru and set up a temporary base for the duration of the shoot.
Toxic To Clash With Prabhas’ The Raja Saab
Produced by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Toxic was initially slated for a theatrical release on April 10, 2025. However, with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab also scheduled for the same date, a box office clash seems inevitable.
Given the extensive planning, star-studded cast, and complex production schedule of Toxic, a postponement of the release date might be on the cards to avoid the clash and ensure a smooth launch.
Rajeev Ravi will handle the cinematography for Toxic, bringing his distinctive visual style to the project.
