Director Neeraj Pandey‘s new romantic thriller, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, is struggling to gain traction at the box office. Despite a small boost in ticket sales on Sunday, the film’s performance has been disappointing, and it’s showing signs of a swift decline.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha BO Collection Day 5
The movie opened on a weak note, earning Rs 1.85 crore on its first Friday. Saturday saw a slight improvement with collections rising to Rs 2.15 crore, reflecting a 16.22% increase. The weekend brought some hope as Sunday’s figures climbed to Rs 2.75 crore, marking a 27.91% jump from Saturday.
However, the positive trend was short-lived. On Monday, the film’s earnings dropped significantly to Rs 1 crore, a steep 63.64% decline from Sunday’s numbers. Early estimates for Tuesday suggest a further decrease, with collections expected to fall to Rs 0.90 crore.
In total, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has managed to gather Rs 8.65 crore in its first five days. Given the sharp drop in collections post-weekend, it looks like the film might not have a long run in theatres.

The film is facing competition at the box office. It’s up against Sudhanshu Saria’s spy thriller Ulajh, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah. Ulajh’s condition is even worse than AMKDT.
However, Nag Ashwin’s futuristic sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, along with Shawn Levy’s Marvel blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, are still performing strongly.
With Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha failing to sustain its early momentum and struggling to compete with other big releases, it seems the film’s theatrical run may be cut short. The significant drop in box office collections suggests that the film will face a tough road ahead, as it continues to battle for audience attention in a crowded market.
About The Film
Talking about the movie, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha features a strong cast, including Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari.
Despite the star power, the film’s appeal hasn’t resonated with audiences. This film marks another collaboration between Devgn and Tabu, who have previously worked together on hits like the Drishyam series, Bholaa, and De De Pyaar De.
Originally scheduled for a July 5 release, the film was postponed, and it appears the delay did not aid its performance.
