The highly anticipated film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is set to hit theatres on July 5, 2024. Ajay Devgn and Tabu, a power-packed duo, reunite to entertain their fans once again. Joining them are Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar, who play the younger versions of Devgn and Tabu’s characters.
Neeraj Pandey On NOT De-aging Ajay Devgn-Tabu In Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha
In a recent chat with News18, director Neeraj Pandey discussed the decision not to use de-aging technology for Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s characters. Pandey explained that he only employs de-ageing through VFX when it is essential to the story.
He believes that overuse of de-ageing technology can verge on technological abuse. “For this particular story, you can’t age Ajay and Tabu’s characters into 21-year-olds. That would look ridiculous!” Pandey said.
Regarding Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar playing the younger versions of Devgn and Tabu, Pandey revealed that the decision to use two distinct actor pairings was clear from the beginning. According to him, this approach suits the story and enhances its beauty. He added that people undergo physical changes after the age of 24, making it necessary to cast younger actors for those roles.

In addition to Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar, Jimmy Shergill plays a pivotal role in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Presented by NH Studioz, the film is a Friday Filmworks production.
Producers include Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia. While the film was initially set to release on July 5, it appears that the makers have postponed the release date.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a romantic thriller centred around characters named Krishna and Vasudha. They fall in love but are separated for 22 years. The film’s music album features a few soothing songs, including “Tuu” and “Ae Dil Zara.”
