KGF 2’s Yash Takes Equal Stake In Upcoming Films Toxic and Ramayana – All You Need to Know!

Yash is co-producing Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups and Ramayana. He was offered Rs 150 crore for each part of Ramayana, but he chose to become a co-producer instead.

Actor Yash, renowned for his iconic portrayal of Rocky Bhai in the blockbuster franchise KGF, has ventured into production under his banner Monster Mind Creations. Recent reports suggested that the actor wouldn’t play Ravana but would co-produce Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. But that’s not all!

His venture into production is highlighted by two projects scheduled for 2025. He isn’t just co-producing Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana but has also turned co-producer for another film, Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, in which he will also act. This film is in collaboration with KVN Productions. Both films have generated significant buzz, and fans are eagerly awaiting the latest updates.

Yash’s involvement goes beyond that of a mere producer; he is actively engaged in the creative process, ensuring that each aspect of production meets his exacting standards. With his debut production, Toxic, he not only intends to leverage his understanding of filmmaking but also aims to explore unconventional themes and push the boundaries of storytelling.

Yash is 50-50 Partner In Both Toxic and Ramayana

Yash has secured an equal stake in both Toxic and Ramayana, indicating a strategic partnership with industry giants. Despite lucrative offers, Yash and Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus have opted to collaborate on Ramayana, highlighting a shared vision to present Indian cinema on a global stage.

Toxic producer Venkat K Narayana talked about teaming up with Yash and said, “KVN Productions is an ambitious production house driven by the goal of creating high-quality, entertaining films. Talking about their collaboration with Yash in Ramayana, producer Namit Malhotra said, “Yash and I have a fully aligned vision to showcase our Indian cinema on a global stage. Being the largest Indian superstar, his contribution in helping take Ramayana from India to the world is unprecedented. That gives me tremendous faith and belief to present this film at a scale that’s second to none in the world”.

Toxic is an action-packed film revolving around the drug mafia, generating excitement among fans, particularly after Yash’s remarkable performances in the KGF series. Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2025.

About Ramayana

Yash is collaborating with Namit Malhotra to co-produce the grand project Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film aims to bring the timeless epic to life on the silver screen while preserving its essence and emotional depth. Ranbir Kapoor is confirmed to portray Lord Rama in this three-part saga, with Sai Pallavi taking on the role of Sita. Although several names for other cast members have surfaced online, the makers have not officially announced the full cast yet.
