Amid speculation about delays to avoid clashes with other big releases, Akshay Kumar has unveiled the motion poster for his much-anticipated film Khel Khel Mein. Despite earlier postponements, the film is now set to release on August 15, 2024.
The first poster of this comic entertainer was initially scheduled to drop on July 19, 2024. However, the reveal was delayed following the sudden demise of Tishaa Kumar, the 20-year-old niece of T-Series head Bhushan Kumar and daughter of actor-producer Krishan Kumar. T-Series is one of the film’s producers.

Sharing the motion poster on social media, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Yaaron waala khel… Yaari waali picture! Band Baaje ke mahaul mein… Band Bajaane waali picture! Say ‘hello’ to the biggest family entertainer of the year! Khel Khel Mein releasing in cinemas on 15th August 2024. #KhelKhelMein #GameIsOn.”
The poster shows the star cast laughing together and making a “shushing” gesture, hinting at the film’s fun and engaging plot.

Filming for Khel Khel Mein started in London in October last year. Akshay Kumar shared a video on Instagram from the first day of shooting, where he walked in slow motion with a smile, captioned: “Can’t help but smile when the camera rolls! Day 1 in London for #KhelKhelMein, shooting begins. Need your love and best wishes.”
The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai, and directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for his expertise in comedy and drama. Khel Khel Mein is a collaborative project between T-Series, Wakaoo Films, and KKM Film Productions.
Interestingly, Khel Khel Mein will face competition at the box office on August 15, 2024, with other major releases such as Stree 2 and Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Sharvari.
In recent work, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Sarfira, Taapsee Pannu is preparing for Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba, Ammy Virk recently appeared in Bad Newz, and Fardeen Khan’s latest project was Heeramandi.
