Amid a streak of successful films, actress Kiara Advani seems to be on a roll. Following a string of hits like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Jugjugg Jeeyo, Shershaah, and Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kiara has now set her sights on a new project.
According to fresh media reports, Kiara Advani is expected to join the cast of Prabhas’ much-anticipated movie Salaar 2.
Kiara Advani To Essay The Female Lead In Salaar 2?
While details about her role remain scarce, it’s said that she might portray the female lead in what is described as a significant character. Additionally, buzz suggests she might share the screen with Prabhas in a special song sequence. However, there hasn’t been an official confirmation from the film’s team regarding Kiara’s involvement.
About Salaar Franchise
The first part of the Salaar franchise, titled Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, made its way to theatres in December 2023, receiving praise from audiences. Starring Prabhas alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu, the film was a hit.
With earnings exceeding Rs 500 crore worldwide, the film’s success led the creators to announce a sequel. Salaar 2 is said to delve into the repercussions of the political landscape in Khansaar, focusing on the transformation of Prabhas and Prithviraj’s characters from close friends to formidable foes.
Kiara Advani’s Work Front
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani is gearing up for her action-packed stint in Don 3, alongside Ranveer Singh. In an interview with ABP News, Kiara expressed her excitement about venturing into the action genre for the first time. She shared, “I wished to do something different…change the vibe and way I’ve been perceived so far.” She accepted the challenge and acknowledged the need for extensive preparation for her role in Don 3.
Apart from Don 3 and Salaar 2, Kiara also has other big projects in her kitty. She is set to appear in Ram Charan’s Telugu film Game Changer and Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
