The latest episode of Koffee with Karan 8 saw the Singham Again duo of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty grace the couch of the popular chat show hosted by Karan Johar. The actor-director pair, who have collaborated on several blockbuster films, opened up about their friendship, their upcoming project, and their views on the industry.
Rohit Shetty on how Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan handle their successes and failures
The makers of the show have shared a new promo on social media, where Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are having a lively and honest conversation on the famous couch. The promo begins with Karan Johar asking Ajay if he gets too excited by success, and Rohit Shetty joins in to say that Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan have a lot in common, when it comes to handling their films after the release. He says “I’ll talk about him (Ajay) and Salman. If a film is a blockbuster, they are sitting outside a van and chilling. If it does not do well, they are sitting outside in a van and chilling.”
Ajay Devgn on Ranveer Singh, “Either I shut him up or I shut my ear”
Another interesting topic that came up during the show was Ranveer Singh, who is also a part of Singham Again. When asked about collaborating with the “highly volatile” Ranveer Singh, Rohit talks about how he is a different energy altogether. Hearing that, Karan Johar acknowledges how he is completely opposite of Ajay Devgn in his personality and asks him how he handles that, to which Ajay humorously remarks, “Either I shut him up or I shut my ear.”

During the rapid fire, when Karan asks Rohit Shetty who changes dialogues during a take, he answers Ranveer Singh. On asking who has a meltdown prior to a difficult scene Rohit answers Ranveer Singh again. On asking who goes bonkers at a wrap party, Rohit cheekily replies same guy Ranveer Singh.
Ajay Devgn on how he’s no longer invited to parties or papped at airports
Adding a playful twist, during the rapid fire, Ajay Devgn reveals that he’s no longer invited to parties when asked why he is not invited to parties. He further reveals that he remains unphotographed at airports, it is also because he doesn’t call the paparazzi himself.
Ajay Devgn calls Karan Johar his sworn enemy
In the last segment, when KJo asks Ajay about the reason if Kajol would not talk to her in the household, to which Ajay cheekily said that he is also waiting for that day. He even mentioned how Karan was ‘once upon a time’ his sworn enemy in the industry.

Singham 3: Rohit Shetty Unveils Ajay Devgn’s Fierce Look
Fans of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of the Singham franchise, starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The film, titled Singham Again, is expected to release in the second half of 2024 and will feature an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
After revealing looks of Akshay, Deepika, Ranveer, Tiger and Kareena, Rohit Shetty, the mastermind behind the popular cop franchise, has finally given a glimpse of Ajay Devgn from much-awaited Singham 3. The director took to his Instagram account on Tuesday and shared a poster of Ajay Devgn’s Singham, roaring like a lion.
