Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, during a time when the entire nation was stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tragic and untimely demise of the young actor shocked everyone, including the Bollywood folks. On his third death anniversary, several people are remembering the young talent who lost his life at a very young age.
Kriti Sanon, who worked with Sushant on Raabta, took to her Instagram stories to pay tribute to her friend. Kriti posted a red heart emoji, accompanied by a song from Raabta. We get to hear the line, ‘lagta hai ye humesha ki tum aas paas ho.’ Kriti shared a close bond with Sushant; she was also one of the few celebrities who attended his funeral which took place the next day on June 15.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty also took to Instagram to remember him. She shared a brief and cute video of them together. The never seen footage shows the two love birds enjoying a vacation. Post his death, Rhea was subjected to extreme media scrutiny and was even jailed for a few weeks for possessing marijuana.
Sushant’s Sister Also Remembers Him
Sushant’s elder sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared several pictures of his late brother along with some of his items. She captioned it, “Love you Bhai, and salute to your intelligence. I miss you every moment. But I know you are a part of me now…. You have become as integral as my breath. Sharing a few nooks recommended by him. Let’s live him by being him. #SushantIsAlive.” Several people took to the comment section to pay tribute to Sushant. Apart from these, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Rajkummar Rao, and several other celebrities also remembered Sushant via Instagram stories.
