Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao are a one-of-a-kind onscreen couple, and their upcoming collaboration will be for a special project. The duo will play a couple who adopts an older couple, who will be played by Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah, respectively. As a result, the story seems entertaining. This film, directed by Abhishek Jain, will also contain a social message.

Kriti characterised the film as a “great slice-of-life family drama with a nice message” in an interview with a news outlet. This untitled film was supposed to hit theatres in March 2020, but due to the pandemic, the crew began filming months later. In October of last year, Kriti and Rajummar reunited in Chandigarh to shoot this film.

Following that, Kriti is expected to return with Tiger Shroff for the film ‘Ganapath.’ They made their Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film ‘Heropanti,’ and are teaming up once more for an action-packed film.

Speaking about the movie, Kriti had previously told BT, “I have always wanted to do an action film, and who better to do it with than Tiger? For this film, I will have to get the hang of riding a dirt bike. Also, action as a genre is new for me, so I will be spending a lot of time prepping up when it comes to technicalities and stunts. I’ve wanted to do the kind of roles Uma Thurman has done. I always felt like I could make better use of my height and long legs, and here I am getting a chance to do that.”

Kriti will also star alongside Akshay Kumar in the film ‘Bachchan Pandey,’ and will romance Varun Dhawan in the horror comedy ‘Bhediya.’
