The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8, which is set to stream this week, featured the charming and witty duo of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, who made their Bollywood debut together in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The two actors, who share a great camaraderie and friendship, appeared on Koffee couch after 11 years and spilled the beans on their personal and professional lives, as well as teased and roasted their mentor Karan Johar on various fronts.

One of the highlights of the episode was when Varun Dhawan asked Karan Johar a tricky question: “How do you get Salman Khan to say yes to your movie?” Karan Johar, who has worked with Salman Khan in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is now gearing up to produce a big actioner with the star. Karan Johar then reluctantly revealed, “Beg, borrow and steal.”
Sidharth Malhotra too chimed in and asked, “So, who are the three best friends of yours from the industry?” Karan Johar is known for his close bonds with many celebrities.

The episode also featured some hilarious moments, such as when Sidharth Malhotra revealed that Varun Dhawan used to sell Shah Rukh Khan’s pictures to girls on My Name Is Khan sets in LA on which they he assisted.
Varun Dhawan called Karan Johar a ‘ghar tode’ (home breaker) for creating rifts between couples on his show, possibly referring to the controversial episode with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The episode also discussed Varun’s ‘smooth as velvet butt’.
