According to the sources, Shahid Kapoor will play a double role in the film.
Shahid Kapoor gets off to a hectic start in 2023, thanks to the popularity of his debut online series, Farzi. In the middle of April, he finished filming his untitled love drama with Kriti Sanon and is now working on Siddharth Roy Kapur’s upcoming film, directed by Rosshan Andrews. Following the completion of the thriller, the actor will collaborate with Anees Bazmee on a comedy.
According to sources in Mid Day, Dil Raju, the director of the popular Tamil film Varisu, has set July as the start date for production on his upcoming high-budget action comedy. The plot relies heavily on the location in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and maybe the adjoining state of Bihar.
A trusted source informed that Bazmee kicked off to work on the action comedy as soon as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 became a hit late last year. When Shahid met the director last year, he found the notion appealing and agreed with it in theory. Anees laboured nonstop to refine the humour over the following six months. Despite what one might have read, it is not a remake of a South Korean film.

Shahid’s Double Role In The Movie
Shahid is eager to get the chance to try his hand at a more humorous character and to play a dual role in the movie Bloody Daddy after Jersey, Farzi, and the forthcoming release. The filmmaker has fashioned it as a mass entertainment, according to a close friend, which is consistent with his approach. The hunt for a leading lady will be focused in the following two weeks by the production crew.
Speaking of Bloody Daddy, it is a Hindi adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche, also known as Sleepless Night. Additionally playing important roles in the movie are Sanjay Kapoor, Rohit Roy, and Diana Penty. On June 9, 2023, JioCinema is scheduled to distribute it direct-to-OTT. Immediately after his Farzi Prime Video series, this will be Shahid’s second OTT release of the year.
