Sanjay Dutt is a veteran actor in Bollywood. In his over four-decade career, Sanjay has acted in dozens of films across a variety of genres and scales with different directors. However, his stronghold has been the Hindi film industry. But Sanjay is now gearing up for his debut Tamil film titled Leo, which stars Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. Sanjay plays a supporting role in the film.
On Sanjay’s 64th birthday, the makers of Leo unveiled his first look from the film. The film’s director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared a video glimpse of Sanjay’s character Anthony Das from the film. Anurag Kashyap Is Also In The Film
Not just Sanjay Dutt, but Anurag Kashyap is also a part of the film. Earlier this month, it was announced that the filmmaker is joining the cast of Vijay’s Leo which also features some other directors like Mysskin and Gautham Menon in supporting roles. Dutt, meanwhile, is playing the antagonist in this much-awaited film. One of the songs of the had sparked controversy after it was accused of promoting the consumption of tobacco. A lawsuit was filed under the Narcotics Control Act against Vijay. But it seems that these controversies have stirred the buzz even more around the film. Fans of Vijay and Sanjay Dutt have been waiting with bated breathe for the film’s official trailer to drop.

Leo is a big-budget action thriller that has been shot in Kashmir. It is touted to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which includes films like Kaithi and Vikram. Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh are collaborating for the second time after Master. The film also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy, and Mysskin. Leo is slated to be released in theatres on 19 October.
