Mahesh Babu’s Major gets postponed due to the current pandemic situation

Adivi Sesh starring film Major on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was all set to release on 11th February 2022. But now the makers have decided to postpone the film due to the current Covid situation. The makers recently released an official announcement regarding this.

Industry’s trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the statement that read, “Given the current situation and restrictions in various parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. Major is a film made for India and we will release it only when the situation improves across the country. Till then please take care of yourselves and stay safe.”

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the pan India bilingual film is shot in Hindi and Telugu. The film stars Adivi Sesh as Sandeep Unnikrishnan along with Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar in leading roles. Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is slated to release next year.
