Manoj Bajpayee is all set to reunite with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey. After months of speculation and a Twitter denial, the actor is now confirmed to lead Pandey’s next thriller. The film is currently untitled and will begin filming in Mumbai on April 18 with a packed schedule.

The film has gone through a big casting change. Earlier, reports suggested that both Manoj and Kay Kay Menon were being considered for the lead roles. Fans were eager to see the two powerhouse actors together. But due to date issues, Kay Kay had to step away. Saqib Saleem has now been brought in to replace him.
A source close to the project told Pinkvilla, “The yet untitled Neeraj Pandey film was initially set to be made with Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon in the lead. However, the dates of Kay Kay Menon didn’t match with the shoot dates, following which he had to pass on the film. It has now been recast with Saqib Saleem.”
Ritesh Shah To Direct
The film will be directed by Ritesh Shah. He is best known for writing intense films like Pink and Raid. This will be his directorial debut, while Neeraj Pandey will oversee the project creatively.
The story is set in one location, giving it a tight and intense atmosphere. The source also revealed that Akshay Oberoi has a key role in the film. Just like most of Neeraj’s work, this film is expected to have a strong cast and gripping plot.
This marks the fourth time Manoj and Neeraj are working together. They have previously collaborated on Special 26, Aiyaary, and Naam Shabana. Their past projects have always delivered solid thrills, so fans are expecting the same this time.
