In a shocking turn of events for the makers of the adult comedy franchise, Mastiii 4 has opened to disastrous reports. Released this Friday, the film starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani is facing massive rejection from the audience. Reports from various parts of Mumbai indicate that cinema halls are cancelling shows because almost no one is showing up to watch the film.
A disappointed fan took to social media to share his harrowing experience. After trying to find a running show, he finally managed to get a ticket at Chitra Cinema in Dadar, only to regret his decision immediately. In a video that has now gone viral, he described the film as absolute torture and slammed the director for making what he called the worst film of his life.
Shows Cancelled Due To No Audience
The situation is so grim that theater owners are being forced to cancel screenings. The fan revealed that he visited multiple theaters where he was informed that shows were cancelled because only one or two people had bought tickets. This level of disinterest for a well-known franchise is unprecedented and signals a huge box office disaster in the making.
The film clashed with Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur, but it seems it is not even putting up a fight. The lack of footfalls on the opening day itself is a worrying sign for the entire team. If the audience is not even willing to give it a chance on Day 1, the lifetime run of the film is likely to be negligible.
“Milap Zaveri Ne Ghatiya Film Bana Di”
The reviews coming in from the few who dared to watch it are scathing. The viral video review tears apart the film’s humor, calling it cheap and unbearable. The viewer specifically pointed out a bizarre scene involving Riteish Deshmukh and wild animals, questioning the sanity of the script. He went on to say, “Milap Zaveri ne zindagi ki sabse ghatiya film bana di hai” (Milap Zaveri has made the worst film of his life).
The criticism did not stop at the direction. The performances of the lead actors were also brutally trolled. The fan commented that Vivek Oberoi looked out of place and that the actresses needed serious acting lessons. Comparing it to the first installment, which was genuinely funny, he called this fourth part a “literal disappointment” and the “torture of 2025.”
