After releasing character posters for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan, the makers of Brahmastra have now given fans their first look at Nagarjuna as the artist Anish. With a blood-smeared visage, the actor exudes ferocity as he wields the Nandi Astra’s power. The character poster was released by director Ayan Mukerji, who praised Nagarjuna as a “gentleman with the warmest of hearts.” He also sent a touching note for the star, suggesting that his performance in ‘Nandi Astra’ will be one of the film’s highlights.
Taking to his Instagram handle on Saturday, June 11, Ayan dropped the poster where Nagarjuna is seen in a fierce avatar with bruises all over his face. The actor packs a punch, with a powerful light igniting from one of his fists. In the caution, he wrote, “ARTIST ANISH & HIS NANDI ASTRA. When I grow up (finally), I would want to be like Nagarjuna Garu (Nag Sir, to me) – A gentleman with the warmest of hearts!!”
Ayan continued, “He entered the world of Brahm’stra and gave his fierce intensity to our movie; touched our entire crew with his kindness and generosity; and greatly added to our dream – of creating a truly pan-India movie experience with Brahm’stra! On September 9, 2022, the film, which also stars Mouni Roy in a major role, will be released theatrically in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
