Kriti Sanon is all set for her upcoming movie Mimi. The actress will be seen in a never seen avatar in this film. She will be donning the character of a pregnant woman in the film. The film is a direction by Laxman Utekar.

Mimi is a remake of Mala Aai Vhaaychya, a Marathi classic. Kriti has to gain a considerable amount of weight for her character in the film so that her character looks realistic.

Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Kriti Sanon told us how she stopped working out. Since she has a fast metabolism, she was aware that the weight gain would be difficult. So, she started eating halwa poori and chana for breakfast and ate dessert after every meal. If she wasn’t hungry then she would opt to eat a cheese slice. Even though she liked it initially, after a point she had to force herself to eat it.

The actress further added that this will be her first project where she gave a nod to the project even without listening to the script. She said yes solely on the basis of the concept.

The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi in a pivotal role.
