Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra Part One- Shiva finally released, after several years in the making. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy, and has a special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. Mouni Roy, who plays the role of the antagonist Junoon, shares screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the first few minutes of the film. The actress has now opened up about working experience with him.
In an interview with a news portal, Mouni said that it is her first film with King Khan. However, instead of romancing Shah Rukh, she is seen in loggerheads with him. The actress also pacified herself by saying that something is better than nothing. According to her, SRK was the most charming, intelligent and spontaneous human being and actor she has ever met and he is a personification of brilliance. Mouni used to ask many questions and he would be kind enough to answer each one of them. Mouni told News18.
Mouni revealed that she fumbled on the first word despite having memorized her lines. “I come from television and we are used to memorizing a lot of lines. The first day I was going to shoot with SRK, some ADs came to the room and said ‘please be well prepared and memorize all your lines’. I said ‘yeah, it’s under control’. I went on set and fumbled on the first word. Because I was having such an out-of-body experience like I am really shooting with Shah Rukh Khan,” said Mouni.She further shared that Ayan Mukerji was there, and he calmed her down.
Mouni essayed the role of the antagonist Junoon in the movie. The actress has been receiving positive reviews for her performance. Some are even calling her the surprise package of the movie.
