Munjya actor Abhay Verma recently shared his excitement about being a part of one of Bollywood’s most anticipated films, King. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan and marks the much-anticipated collaboration between the Bollywood superstar and his daughter, Suhana Khan.
Abhay, who was confirmed to be in the film, couldn’t hide his excitement about working with the King of Bollywood.
Abhay Verma Says He Could Do Anything To Star In A Film with Shah Rukh Khan
During a chat with News18, Abhay spoke candidly about his feelings regarding the project. Though he didn’t directly confirm his role, the actor expressed his hope and excitement about the opportunity.
“I feel fortunate that people are talking about me being part of King,” he said, revealing his anticipation for the possibility of sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan.
Abhay, who has long been a fan of SRK, added that meeting the superstar would be a dream come true for him. “Hopefully, fingers crossed, I’ll get to meet my God, meet my hero,” he said.
He shared that he hadn’t yet had the chance to meet Shah Rukh Khan, but when he did, it would be an emotional experience. “I might cry when I meet him,” he confessed, calling the moment ‘overwhelming.’
Abhay joked that he would be willing to take any role, no matter how small, just to work with the superstar. “Unke liye toh main deewar pe macchar bhi ban sakta hun puri film mein. (For him, I can become a mosquito on the wall in the entire film),” he said.

Talking about the film, King is set to be an action-packed entertainer, with Shah Rukh Khan leading the cast alongside Suhana Khan. The latest update reveals that Abhishek Bachchan has joined the movie as the antagonist. It was recently revealed that the film will now be directed by Siddharth Anand & is expected to go on floors in March 2025.
A source revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand make one of the most significant pairings in Hindi cinema. The preparation for King has been going on for the past six months, with international stunt directors working on innovative action sequences.
