Dinesh Vijan’s much-awaited horror-comedy, Munjya, has just unveiled its third song, “Hai Jamalo,” and the audience is already buzzing with excitement. Sung by Nakash Aziz, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and composed by Sachin–Jigar, the track is captivating listeners.
Maddock Films recently shared the song on its YouTube channel, receiving an enthusiastic response from the audience. The intriguing “Hai Jamalo” has intensified the anticipation surrounding the film’s release.
Munjya Song ‘Hai Jamalo’ Dropped Ahead Of Film’s Release
The song, featuring Abhay Verma and Sharvari, expresses deep longing and a desire for love and companionship beyond one’s lifetime. It laments the elusiveness of love, expressing a wish to find companionship before growing old.
The lyrics suggest that love has the power to make one forget worries and desires, even melting the coldest heart. Symbols of love, such as roses, stocks, and monkeys, are woven throughout the song.
It expresses hope that love will arrive before it’s too late, allowing one to savour its sweetness. The chorus repeats the phrase “Jamalo, Abhhi Lagna, Abhhi Lagna,” meaning “Jamalo, come closer, come closer,” reflecting the desire for love and companionship.
Munjya Censored With Zero Cuts
The censoring of Munjya was completed on Tuesday, June 4. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the film a U/A certificate. Interestingly, the CBFC’s Examining Committee did not request any cuts, whether audio or visual. The film’s duration, as indicated on the censor certificate, is 123 minutes, equivalent to 2 hours and 3 minutes.
Additionally, it has been revealed that Munjya will have paid previews on Thursday, June 6 night. Therefore, moviegoers will have the opportunity to catch the horror-comedy a day before its full-fledged release.

Aditya Sarpotdar directs a horror comedy presented by the creators of Stree and Bhediya. The story centres on Munjya, a character from Konkan coast folklore. It’s touted as Hindi cinema’s maiden venture with a CGI lead. Dinesh Vijan’s production is all set to hit screens tomorrow on June 7.
