The film, which is inspired by true events, has already generated strong curiosity among audiences for its combination of action, drama and emotionally driven storytelling. With each new update emerging from the production, anticipation around the project is steadily strengthening ahead of its theatrical release.

Vishal Bhardwaj recalls intense train action sequence

Speaking about the filming experience, Vishal Bhardwaj opened up about a particularly challenging sequence shot on a train set. According to the filmmaker, the situation unfolded unexpectedly when the team discovered that Nana Patekar was unwell during the shoot.

Recalling the incident, Bhardwaj said, “Suddenly, while we were shooting this action sequence in the train, I got to know that Nana Sir was unwell and had a 102-degree fever. We immediately called the doctor, who said he would give an injection but advised that Nana Sir should not shoot.”

Despite medical advice to rest, the actor reportedly insisted on continuing with the shoot, prioritising the production schedule and the logistical challenges attached to large scale set pieces.

Bhardwaj further shared, “But Nana Sir, being Nana Patekar, said, ‘No, I am not going back. I want to shoot. I want to complete this sequence. I can’t take this on my head ki mere wajah se shooting cancel hui, location cancel ho.’ And for the next four hours, he kept shooting with us.”

The director also described the physical toll the actor was experiencing during filming. He said, “His body was so warm that we could feel the heat when touching his forehead. Between shots, he would lie down on the train set, and when he got up to perform, it felt like jaise bimaari thi hi nahi. This is the commitment of a great artist.”
