WATCH: Adarsh Gourav Turns Rap Star with ‘Naam Karu Bada’ from Tu Yaa Main, New Track Adds Grit to Survival Thriller’s Album

The promotional campaign of Tu Yaa Main is picking up pace with the makers unveiling a brand new track titled Naam Karu Bada, adding a striking musical dimension to the upcoming survival thriller. After the romantic track Jee Liya introduced audiences to the chemistry between Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, the newly released song shifts the tonal graph of the album by bringing in a raw, street driven rap number that expands the emotional and character depth of the film.

Naam Karu Bada sees Adarsh Gourav stepping into full rap mode, lending his voice to the track, which has been composed by Sez on the Beat, with lyrics penned by hip hop collective 7 Bantaiz. The track is positioned as an extension of Adarsh’s on screen character Aala Flowpara, offering a glimpse into the psyche, ambition and internal drive of the protagonist.

Adarsh Gourav channels character through music

The rap number adopts an underground sonic style with a pulsating street sound that mirrors the character’s journey. Built around themes of ambition, self belief and relentless hunger to succeed, the track portrays a young dreamer determined to carve out his own identity. The lyrics capture the emotional and mental state of someone who is willing to take risks, summarised in the film’s recurring mindset of pushing limits without fear of failure.

Speaking about the song, Adarsh Gourav shared, “Singing has always been a passion of mine, and with Tu Yaa Main, I’ve gotten the chance to experiment across different genres. Jee Liya was rooted in romance, while Naam Karu Bada is completely Aala Flowpara, it speaks to his mindset, his ambition, and his hunger to grow. I’m really happy to have collaborated with such talented hip hop and rap artists like 7 Bantaiz and Sez on the Beat. I hope audiences connect with this song as much as they’ve connected with Jee Liya.”

Music album builds narrative depth of the film

With Naam Karu Bada, the music of Tu Yaa Main appears to be designed as a storytelling tool rather than just a promotional add on. While Jee Liya highlighted the romantic dynamic between the lead characters, the rap track introduces a more intense and edgy perspective, reflecting the emotional volatility expected from a survival thriller.

It is noted that incorporating character driven songs is increasingly becoming a strategy to deepen audience engagement even before a film’s theatrical release. By linking the music directly with the protagonist’s personal journey, the makers are attempting to create a stronger emotional connection with younger audiences.

A youth driven survival thriller

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main is backed by producers Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Colour Yellow, along with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited. The film is positioned as a youth centric thriller that blends emotional storytelling with high tension survival elements.

With its promotional campaign gradually expanding through music, the film is building anticipation ahead of its theatrical release on February 13, 2026. The addition of Naam Karu Bada strengthens the album’s diversity and further reinforces the makers’ attempt to blend genre storytelling with contemporary music influences.
