Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra apartment on June 14. Actor’s father K.K. Singh then lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. The case was then handed over to Central Bureau of Agency (CBI) by the Supreme Court.
Now, as Rhea’s chats about consuming drugs and buying drugs came forward, the case was registered under sections 20 (b), 28 and 29 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act. This act is taken up when there’s dealing of crimes like possessing or selling drugs.
This happened when ED wrote to NCB that they found out in their investigation that drugs were supplied to Rhea and Sushant.
Although, Rhea’s lawyer in a statement said that “she has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She is ready for a blood test.”
