Akshay Kumar is all set to start his new decade with Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi this year and it’s expected to open big at the box office. It also stars Katrina Kaif as the leading lady in the film. Neena Gupta was casted to play the role of Akshay’s mother in the film.
She also started the shoot of the film but now it’s been said that she will no more be a part of the film. She has left the Rohit Shetty directorial as the makers now feel that her role isn’t fitting the storyline.
Rohit Shetty was the one who thought that her role isn’t adding much value to the narrative of the film. She was officially informed that her role will be edited out of the film. Story of the film is mainly based on Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif’s characters.
Neena Gupta, without creating any issue about the same, calmly understood the director’s vision and opted out of the film. According to an online portal Neena has no complaint about the same and even joked that Rohit will compensate by giving her role in the next film.
