Netflix has released the first teaser of its upcoming original series, Dabba Cartel, which revolves around five ordinary women who get involved in a drug racket that operates through the ‘dabba system’ of delivering home-cooked meals. The series stars Shabana Azmi, Shalini Pandey, Jyotika, Lillete Dubey, Saie Tamhankar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles.

The first look gives a glimpse of the characters and their motivations, as they embark on a risky and thrilling journey that will test their friendship, loyalty, and courage. The series promises to be a dark comedy with a lot of twists and turns, as the women face the challenges of running a drug cartel in the crowded and chaotic city of Mumbai.
About Dabba Cartel
Dabba Cartel is produced by Excel Entertainment, which is known for its popular and acclaimed web series such as Mirzapur, Inside Edge, and Made in Heaven. This is Excel’s second collaboration with Netflix after the rom-com series, Eternally Confused And Eager For Love, which released in 2022.
The series is directed by Hitesh Bhatia, who has previously helmed the short film, The Affair, and the feature film, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. For Shalini Pandey, who plays one of the lead roles, this is her second OTT project after her debut in the Amazon Prime series, Junta Band.
Dabba Cartel is slated to premiere on Netflix soon. The official trailer and the release date will be announced soon.
