NOT Bhaijaan But Salman Khan Likely To Revert To Original Title Of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Here’s Why!

Salman's friends and close associates warned him that the new moniker would be seen as favouring a certain population and could spark controversy.

Bhaijaan, the original title of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, will now be chosen for its release. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the actor has been told to undo the alterations. According to the story, Salman’s friends and close associates warned him that the new moniker would be seen as favouring a certain population and could spark controversy.

“The film is about the one-ness of all Indians, irrespective of caste or culture. To call the film a culture-specific title seems incongruous. The film was originally called Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, and that’s the title that Salman is likely to adhere to,” a source close to the project was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.

According to the source, Salman Khan recommended altering the title of the film to Bhaijaan because his fans referred to him by that name. His close friends, however, have persuaded him to go back to the original title as it would give the impression that the upcoming film is a continuation of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is said to be a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. The Farhad Samji directorial will release in theatres later this year.
