‘Bhasad Macha’ Shows How Shahid Has Evolved As Dancer
The song “Bhasad Macha” offers a sneak peek into Shahid’s growth as a dancer. Choreographed by Bosco Martis, it highlights Shahid’s refined dance moves and his ability to bring controlled energy to his performance.
According to Martis, Shahid’s dance has evolved. “He’s always been full of energy, but now he’s learned to control it, making his dance even more powerful. It’s like watching a superstar perform – you celebrate with him,” Martis shared.
The choreography for “Bhasad Macha” was designed to fit Shahid’s character in Deva, who has a wild and dominant personality. Martis explained that Shahid’s vision for the dance was to focus on his character’s energy, making the moves more character-driven. They worked together to create dance sequences that matched the characters’ traits.
Drawing inspiration from the energetic track “Dhan Te Nan,” the team wanted to ramp up the intensity of the dance. Martis described how they aimed for a free-flowing, wild energy in the sequence. “Shahid fully embraced the role, bringing a crazy, erratic, and alpha-male character to life with the dance,” he said.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Deva is expected to be an action-packed thriller that promises high drama, intense fight scenes, and, of course, Shahid’s impressive dance moves.
