Nushrratt Bharuccha’s health update has taken a serious turn, with her team issuing an official statement confirming that the actor suffered a spine fracture in Bali and will need surgery. The note from her publicist offers the clearest picture yet of her condition and the treatment plan now being put in place.
In the statement issued by Sanchita Trivedi of Idhyah Media, publicist to Nushrratt Bharuccha, the team said, “Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was in Bali for a work-cum-holiday trip, met with an unfortunate accident and suffered a fracture in her spine. She is currently hospitalised in Bali and remains under medical observation. Following further evaluation by the doctors, Nushrratt will be undergoing spine surgery.”
Team Confirms Air Ambulance Plans
The statement also confirmed that arrangements are being made to shift the actor to Mumbai for the next stage of treatment. “At present, our immediate priority is her health and ensuring she receives the necessary medical care. We are currently making arrangements to bring Nushrratt back to Mumbai from Bali via an air ambulance, where she will undergo the surgery.”
Her team also made it clear that her professional commitments over the next few weeks are likely to be affected as she recovers from the injury and the procedure. “Given the nature of the injury and the surgery, Nushrratt will need time to rest and recover, and her work commitments over the next few weeks are likely to be affected.”

Along with sharing the medical update, the team urged well wishers and the media to give the actor space during this period. “We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. For now, the focus remains on her treatment, her transfer to Mumbai, and the surgery that lies ahead once doctors complete the next round of evaluation.
