The 2017 Marathi film ‘Lapachhapi’, directed by Furia, was remade as ‘Chhorii’ and revolves around a story of a pregnant mother whose unborn child is being pursued by demonic spirits. The Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) story is playing the lead role in the sequel, tentatively titled ‘Chhorii 2’, where it left off in the first movie. New twists will be seen, as well as the return of some important characters.
Recently, Nushrratt Bharuccha announced on Twitter that the film shooting has been completed. It’s a wrap for ‘Chhori 2’. Nushrratt captioned, “Peek-a-boo !!! Where are you?! #Chhorii2 Film Wrap! Are u ready for it???”

The movie is a collaboration between Bhushan Kumar’s T-series and Abundantia Entertainment. The sequel of the film will be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Apart from this, Nushrratt will next be seen in filmmaker Raj Mehta’ ‘Selfiee’, starrer Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi and Diana Penty.
