Kangana Ranaut, who is always known for bringing life to her characters have worked hard for this one as well. She learned Tamil and Bharatnatyam and also gained weight to look exactly like Thalaivi.
Thalaivi is based on a true life story of politician Jayalalitha. Directed by Vijay, the movie is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Iduro and Shaailesh R Singh. The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on June 26, 2020.
