
Avinash Arun, who last directed Anushka Sharma’s Pataal Lok is all set for his next. The director and the series got a lot positive reviews. Pataal Lok was released on Amazon Prime Video and was loved by the audience.
Now, according to the sources close to the development, Avinash’s next direction will again be a series for Amazon Prime Video. The show is tentatively titled as Crash Course.
If sources are to be believed, Avinash has almost finished the script and is currently working on the vast with Mukesh Chhabra. Crash Course will be Avinash’s third project as a director. He made his directorial debut in 2014 with National Award-winning Marathi film Killa. This year, he came up with Paatal Lok wherein he co-directed the series with Prosit Roy.
The story of the series will be revolving around students of Kota, Rajasthan. The series is believed to be along the lines of TVF’s Kota Factory and will highlight the problems IIT-JEE aspirants face.
Amazon Prime have greenlighted the show earlier this year and it was scheduled to go on floors this month but has now been postponed until the situation gets back to normal. Manish Hariprasad will be producing this show.
